Our Areas of Work
We promote safe, high-quality anesthesia and critical care through standardized protocols, the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist, and the widespread use of pulse oximeters across hospitals in Burundi.
We support health system strengthening by providing professional leadership and advocating for the legal recognition of the profession.
Through continuous professional development, we deliver certified training programs such as SAFE Obstetrics, SAFE Paediatrics, and Primary Trauma Care in partnership with leading universities. Our research activities generate local evidence to improve practice, including national facility surveys and published studies on trauma care.
